Bouldering Backpack

This is a concept that I designed and prototyped with the intended use as a bouldering gym bag. This specific style of climbing has a hold on the sport, so there is a market share for specifically tailored items for climbers who don't carry all the gear used in trad, lead, or sport climbing.

This bag is just big enough for a pair of shoes. Featuring a large exterior flap for sweaty items. The materials were carefully chosen to balance the line between wipeable and breathable since both are important for someone training in the gym.

I am always looking to reuse old/overstock materials, so the fabric trims and hardware were all donated from various outdoor and sporting brands as a way to support me as a young designer.
